South Londoners, Little Grim, treat us to a groove laden beauty in the form of their brand new tune ‘Sparks’. Not only does it see the band add a completely new dimension to their sound, Little Grim return with a new heir of confidence and a sizeable chunk of 70’s inspired funk!

The tune is accompanied by a mega video, produced by award-winning film-makers Do Not Entry, the video focuses on the song’s vintage swagger: a pastiche of the British gangster films of the 1970’s, filmed entirely on 16mm. The film stars Chris Fairhall, a rough, scar-faced gangster rogue who is hell bent on a violent journey to recover his missing wife.

The band are embarking on a UK tour to support this new single release. They will also be interviewing promoters, venue owners and those involved in the independent music industry, to gather a unique perspective on the current landscape for small touring bands. The aim is to discuss some of the ways they are diversifying against the challenges they face, and the passion that fuels their desire to bring new music to their local communities.

Little Grim really have a huge amount to offer, with this switch up of their sound only adding another string to their bow!
