Our iconic Earl Polo Shirt, which has been a hero piece for us since 1955, returned bigger and better than ever during Autumn/Winter 16! To celebrate this hero piece and give it the respect it deserves, we put together a photo shoot of bands & artists rocking the legendary Black Earl Polo Shirt in London.

Up next is rock n rollers, False Heads! Not only do we have an exclusive photoshoot and Q&A with these lads, we have the first play of their video for MEGA new single, ‘Twenty Nothing‘!

Having been hailed by Iggy Pop as one of his favourite bands of the moment, declared “the future of rock n’ roll” by ex-Ramones manager Danny Fields, signed up by The Libertines drummer Gary Powell to his 25 Hour Convenience Store label, given Pete Townsend’s studio to record in, and named as one of their tips for 2017 by both Fred Perry Subculture and This Feeling, it’s fair to say that there’s a hell of a buzz swirling around this young East London trio!

The Independent, NME, Clash Magazine, Q Magazine, Artrocker, Drowned In Sound, BBC 6Music, Radio X, Kerrang Radio (where the band were playlisted), and BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens have also all waded in with support and praise for the trio’s delinquent, punk-driven assault, that finds them caught somewhere between the early grunge of Foo Fighters, the infectious songwriting of Pixies, and the snotty punk attitude of The Buzzcocks.

Following their remarkable ‘Thick Skin’ and ‘Weigh In’ single releases in 2016, False Heads went on to perform at The Roundhouse in London for the Punk Weekender event, played an acclaimed set at Camden Rocks festival, live sessions for BBC Introducing and Radio X, and were even interviewed by The New York Times. Meanwhile their avid fanbase continues to grow as the excitement around the trio builds.

We caught up with F.H for an exclusive Q&A which you can check out below:

1. What does it mean to you to ‘Be An Original’?

Nothing is that original anymore, let’s be perfectly honest. And I think people from all spectrums of politics, society, culture are more willing to have someone else’s personality, thoughts and ideas shoved down their throat. The tribalistic, sheep, lynch mob mentality is more prevalent than ever. However, I say fuck that, to ‘Be An Original’ is too be skeptical, yet open-minded and most importantly have a vision and see it out until the end. And obviously, do exactly as I f*cking do and say.

2. Tell us about your latest release?

I wrote the bulk of the song ages ago, the riff I had when I was about 16 and I finally found a home for it when I came up with the bulk of the tune about two years ago. Barney then added that awesome little hook over the main riff which I liked. Aggressive, grungey punk riffs with a sweet, almost innocent little ‘oooh’ over the top. Which we all thought worked really well. It’s my favourite of our tracks.

Lyrically, it’s pretty apathetic and I guess it has having a go at that tribal mentality and the fact that so many people celebrate cardboard cut out mediocrity like fucking Anne Marie or Rag’n’Bone man or all that boring sh*t. We’re so obsessed with fame that people line up outside Sugar Hut to see worthless fools from TOWIE fall out of it. Put them against the wall man. The EP that’s its on ‘Gutter Press’ pretty much sums that up I guess haha

3. Who’s your top ICON and why?

Eminem, he said what he wanted, did he wanted and did not give a f*ck what people thought of it.
