Our iconic Earl Polo Shirt, which has been a hero piece for us since 1955, returned bigger and better than ever during Autumn/Winter 16! To celebrate this hero piece and give it the respect it deserves, we put together a photo shoot of bands & artists rocking the legendary Black Earl Polo Shirt in London.

Up next in this series is Three Kings High!

Following on from their outstanding debut album HAIL, Three Kings High’s signature sleaze pop Rock n Roll has earned them a countrywide rep as a truly mega live experience. Followed up with their ‘They Think They’re People‘ record, acting as a tongue in cheek reference to how the band see themselves in the music scene, they have treated us to everything from up-tempo and energetic live show favorites such as “Nowhere Fast” and ”You Don’t Know Me” to more laid back and psyche-rock infused tracks like “Margins” and “Shine On”.

Storming sets in Europe at the end of 2016 coupled with support slots alongside the likes of Huey Morgan, The Milk & Molotov Jukebox, playing main stages at a number of Festivals, as well as on corporate stages put on by Nokia. They have been championed by BBC Radio 6 & BBC Introducing as ones to watch and we can’t wait to see them in action this year!

We caught up with frontman Joe for an exclusive Q&A, check it out below!

1.       What does it mean to you to ‘Be An Original’?

For me it’s about being uncompromising, new and exciting, we’re all born original it’s just a shame a lot of us die a copy.

2.       Tell us about your latest release?

Our latest album ‘They Think They’re People’ is our arrival into the music scene, though it’s not our first release I think it’s the strongest and truest to what we are. It’s raucous, it’s fun, and it’s a punch to the nuts! We wanted to shake off any preconceptions and also remind the world that the best music is honest and ugly sometimes, it’s not all navel-gazing and looking cool, although we are incredibly cool (especially in our new gear), and we often gaze at our navels to see what’s in there…in fact, it’s narcissistic and massively indulgent, a huge contradiction, just how rock and roll should be.

3.       Who’s your top ICON and why?

We all have our own and I guess mine change all the time, when I was a kid I was obsessed with Robert De Niro (or at least his characters), often playing the outsider and again an unstable, uncompromising force, and then moving onto the likes of Rutger Hauer and Bill Murray who are both fantastically weird and larger than life in their own way. These days its Big Ronnie aka the Greasey Strangler, you could learn a lot from that guy, like how to style some fishnet disco onesies, and never take sass from a bullsh*t artist or that grapefruit just tastes better with some grease on it. HOOTIE TOOTIE DISCO CUTIE!
