After a whirlwind summer wowing crowds on the festival circuit including The Great Escape and Lovebox, capped by a live performance on BBC2 from Glastonbury, The Fedz return with the summer-smash-in-waiting ‘Urban Tales‘!

This poignant tale of the vagaries of city life and a favourite of the collective’s live shows, ‘Urban Tales’ is an upbeat slice of summery soul and is sure to follow on from the group’s previous singles ‘Best I Ever Had,’ ‘What’s My Name’ and ‘Plan,’ all of which have been playlisted at BBC Radio 1Xtra and featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist.

The Fedz are a daring UK collective, mentored by two seminal producers Dennis Bovell (Neneh Cherry, The Slits) and James Poyser (Lauryn Hill, D’Angelo, Adele) who, with their unique blend of soul, reggae and hip-hop have, in a few short months, been championed by MistaJam, Clara Amfo and Trevor Nelson, as well as being picked as one of 1xtra’s ‘Hot for 2017.’ Comprising 13 young creatives based in London, their renegade street takeovers are notorious, once closing down Oxford Street with 5000 people.
