The Shrives cut their debut record with Billie-Joe Armstrong from Green Day,  were named as one of ‘The World’s Hottest New Bands’ by Kerrang! as well as featured by the likes of NME, Rock Sound, 6Music and Classic Rock in 2016, it’s safe to say these lads are on top of their game at the moment!

Billie-Joe invited the 4-piece over to his Jingletown Studios in Oakland to put down their debut. Their 11-track ‘Back In The Morrow’ record was recorded by Grammy winner Chris Dugan (Green Day, Iggy Pop, U2), while the Green Day frontman even played bass on part of the album!

It’s their ‘Madnight‘ single that’s caught the ears of the Plugged In Track Of The Week officials though, with the tune released via Gary Powell of The Libertines label, 25 Hour Convenience Store – the Grantham-based 4-piece are looking set to become one of 2017’s brightest UK rock bands.

More than worthy, ‘Madnight‘ earns the Plugged In Track Of The Week title!
